What does being a Role Model for Big Ideas Wales mean?
I deliver a talk in schools about the possibility of starting your own Business. Being an employee isn’t for everyone, sometimes ideas, thoughts, plans and fireworks just burst form your head and you really want to see if you could do it yourself. Most recently I have been to Secondary schools and I love it! The opportunity gives me an excellent insight into what it’s like for my supply teachers whilst out on supply, understanding poor behaviour, classroom management and the complications that can happen with I.T. Once I share my own story and journey into self employment, my audience is usually pretty engaging and I leave with a grin on my face from the warm feeling of knowing that I’ve inspired young learners to think/plan for the future. On a whole, my experience has been excellent so far!
